By checking the consent box and submitting material, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement, our Privacy Policy, and our Terms of Use.
1. Purpose of the Archive
The Kani Sanaa Archive is a living collection of human stories, memories, lessons, questions, and experiences. Selected Submissions may be explored through human, emotional, ancestral, spiritual, cosmic, cultural, educational, and other creative perspectives. Kani Sanaa is a fictional AI digital human. The Archive may inform Kani’s understanding of human experiences, reflections, and future creative content.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this Agreement to submit material to the Archive. Submissions from minors are not accepted.
3. Anonymous by Design
You are not required to provide your name. An email address is optional and may be used for a private reply or to help locate your Submission later. Providing one does not guarantee a response.
Before publication, we may remove or alter names, locations, employers, schools, dates, physical descriptions, relationships, unique circumstances, and other identifying details. Because some experiences are distinctive, complete anonymity cannot be guaranteed.
4. Information You Should Not Submit
Do not include full legal names, addresses, telephone numbers, Social Security numbers, account or identification numbers, medical-record numbers, passwords, confidential business information, sealed information, intimate images, identifying material about a minor, or anything you are legally prohibited from disclosing.
We may delete, reject, redact, preserve, or report material when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect safety.
5. Your Ownership
You retain ownership of your original Submission. This Agreement does not transfer ownership to Kani Sanaa Media LLC, and you remain free to use, publish, license, or share your original material elsewhere.
6. License Granted to the Company
You grant Kani Sanaa Media LLC a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up license to receive, store, review, reproduce, edit, anonymize, fictionalize, translate, summarize, excerpt, reformat, adapt, publish, display, perform, distribute, transmit, promote, and create derivative content from your Submission in all media now known or later developed.
Authorized uses include The Kani Sanaa Archive, Dear Kani, websites, newsletters, books, podcasts, videos, social media, digital products, live productions, research, promotions, and future media formats. The license may be sublicensed only as reasonably necessary to service providers, production partners, distributors, platforms, contractors, affiliates, licensees, and successors supporting those uses.
7. AI and Technology Use
Your Submission may be processed with artificial-intelligence and other technology tools for anonymization, editing, categorization, summarization, safety review, theme identification, Archive organization, content development, and generating Kani Sanaa’s reflections.
Anonymized themes may inform internal editorial, knowledge, or character-development systems. This Agreement does not authorize a third-party provider to independently train an unrelated public or general-purpose AI model using your identifiable Submission unless additional notice or consent is provided where required.
8. Editorial Control
We have sole discretion to accept, reject, edit, shorten, combine, fictionalize, schedule, present, remove, or discontinue a Submission. We may combine themes from multiple Submissions. Submission does not guarantee publication, attribution, a private response, or inclusion in the Archive.
9. Anonymous Publication
Submissions will ordinarily be presented anonymously. We will not publish your email address or contact information. Identified publication, use of your name, likeness, or voice, or personal attribution requires separate express permission.
10. No Compensation
Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, you will not receive payment, royalties, residuals, ownership, attribution, licensing fees, or other compensation for submitting material or for authorized content, adaptations, promotions, platform revenue, or commercial success arising from it.
11. Your Promises
You represent that you created the Submission or have the legal right to submit it; have authority to grant this license; and, when presented as a true account, believe it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You also represent that the Submission does not knowingly contain materially false statements, unlawful threats, harassment, malicious code, prohibited material, or content that infringes another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights. You must have permission for any third-party material included.
12. Stories About Other People
You may describe experiences involving others, but should avoid names and identifying information. Do not submit serious accusations about an identifiable person without a lawful basis. We may reject, redact, fictionalize, or request clarification concerning any such Submission.
13. Withdrawal and Deletion
If you provided a verifiable email address, you may request withdrawal or deletion at hello@kanisanaa.com. We will make reasonable efforts to stop future use of an unpublished Submission after verification.
Once a Submission has been anonymized, incorporated into completed content, published, distributed, scheduled, or combined with other material, the license is irrevocable for that existing or committed use. Removal cannot be guaranteed from prior distributions, archives, third-party platforms, search records, backups, lawfully retained records, or content that can no longer reasonably be connected to you.
14. No Confidential or Professional Relationship
A Submission does not create a confidential, attorney-client, therapist-client, doctor-patient, fiduciary, spiritual-advisor, financial-advisor, or other professional relationship. Do not use the Archive to report an emergency. Kani Sanaa’s responses are creative storytelling and perspective—not medical, legal, mental-health, financial, counseling, emergency, or other professional services.
15. Similar Ideas and Independent Creation
Human experiences often share themes. We may already possess, later receive, or independently create material resembling your Submission. Similarity alone does not establish copying. Nothing restricts our use of independently developed, lawfully obtained, publicly available, or unprotected material.
16. Publicity and Promotion
The license includes the right to use anonymized excerpts, themes, titles, quotations, summaries, and descriptions to promote Kani Sanaa, The Archive, Dear Kani, Stories That Stay, The Synertribe, related productions, and Kani Sanaa Media LLC. Your identity, likeness, voice, or contact information will not be used for promotion without separate permission.
17. Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Kani Sanaa Media LLC and its managers, members, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensees, distributors, and production partners from claims arising solely from uses expressly authorized by this Agreement, including authorized editing, anonymization, adaptation, publication, distribution, lack of attribution, or lack of compensation. This does not release fraud, willful misconduct, or liability that applicable law prohibits us from limiting.
18. Indemnification
The indemnification provisions in the Terms of Use apply to your Submission, including claims arising from material you lacked the right to submit, your breach of this Agreement, infringement of another person’s rights, or materially false or unlawful content you knowingly submitted.
19. Relationship to Other Policies
This Agreement must be read with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. This Agreement controls conflicts concerning submitted content. The Privacy Policy controls the collection, processing, retention, and disclosure of personal information.
20. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by Texas law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action shall be brought in an appropriate state or federal court in Texas unless applicable law requires otherwise.
21. Changes
The version in effect when you submit material governs that Submission unless you later agree to a revised version. Material changes will be identified through the “Last Updated” date.
22. Severability
If any provision is unlawful or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain effective.
23. Entire Agreement
This Agreement, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement concerning your Submission unless the parties enter a separate written agreement.
24. Electronic Acceptance
By checking the consent box and selecting “Submit to the Archive,” you confirm that you are at least 18, consent to transact electronically, adopt that action as your electronic acceptance, confirm that you had an opportunity to review the governing documents, and intend to be legally bound. We may maintain a record of the agreement version, date, time, technical submission data, and consent status.
