The Services are owned and operated by Kani Sanaa Media LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

1. Our Mission

Kani Sanaa is a transparent AI media experience dedicated to preserving stories, encouraging thoughtful conversations, and creating meaningful digital experiences through storytelling, artificial intelligence, education, and creative expression.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to submit stories or participate in community features.

If you are under 18, you may browse publicly available content only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

3. AI Disclosure

Kani Sanaa is a fictional AI digital human. Although conversations may feel personal and empathetic, Kani is not a human being and should not be relied upon as a substitute for:

• Medical advice
• Mental health treatment
• Legal advice
• Financial advice
• Professional counseling
• Emergency services

Always consult a qualified professional regarding matters requiring professional judgment.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit unlawful material.
• Submit defamatory or knowingly false information.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse others.
• Upload malicious software or harmful code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Interfere with website operations.
• Impersonate another individual.
• Violate applicable laws or regulations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

5. Story Submissions

By submitting a story, you represent that you have the right to submit the content; it does not knowingly infringe another person’s rights; the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge; and you understand that it may be edited and anonymized in accordance with our Story Submission Agreement.

Submitting a story does not guarantee publication, response, or compensation.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content available through the Services is owned by or licensed to Kani Sanaa Media LLC. This includes the Kani Sanaa character, Stories That Stay, Dear Kani, The Archive, The Synertribe, logos, artwork, illustrations, videos, podcasts, music, website design, graphics, text, software, and digital assets.

Nothing contained within the Services transfers ownership of any intellectual property to users.

7. Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, sell, redistribute, modify, commercialize, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission from Kani Sanaa Media LLC.

8. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of your original submissions. However, by submitting content, you grant Kani Sanaa Media LLC the rights described in the Story Submission Agreement.

If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Story Submission Agreement, the Story Submission Agreement controls with respect to submitted content.

9. Third-Party Services

The Services may include links to third-party websites, applications, or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, content, or policies. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their respective terms and policies.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kani Sanaa Media LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kani Sanaa Media LLC, its managers, members, employees, contractors, licensors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kani Sanaa Media LLC and its affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, your submitted content, or your violation of another person’s rights.

13. Modifications

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal courts located within the State of Texas unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kani Sanaa Media LLC regarding your use of the Services.
